PURPOSE: Blaze Mentoring programs are designed to utilize a small group settings to connect with young male and female students while simultaneously modeling and educating them on effective strategies to bring them to their full and expected potential. (10 sessions)

OBJECTIVES:
To define and establish the importance of Self-Respect and Positive Self-image (Who Am I?)
To explain and explore Good Manners and Etiquette and Respect of Others
To define short term and long term Goal- Setting and examine realistic and practical methods of applying these goals to everyday life
To offer strategies for Self-Motivation
To introduce Anti-Bullying strategies
To emphasize the Importance of Education and demonstrate relevance to the achievement of life goals
To explore Creative Writing skills
To Stimulate and Motivate through creative writing
To broaden enthusiasm and stimulate thought through various Non-Traditional Excursions   

OUTCOME: Students will gain empowerment through a deeper understanding of themselves, their abilities, and the opportunities available to them. Students will co-author practical and applicable goals to keep them focused on the future in spite of any negative distractions.
